Welcome to the home of the Darling Sisters. With Lovely Lisa of ShutterBug Baby and all our fabulous friends in the Sophisticates Society, Darla and Blossom Darling are here with vintage-inspired charm, deportment, manners, style, philosophy and anything that we feel will make this lovely world even lovelier.

We are based in Canberra, Australia. Frequently we pack our pretty bags and hop on a train, plane or automobile to take our brand of charm interstate - and via the Darling Sisters' Boutique, even overseas.

We love an alternative lifestyle! Goths, punks, burlesque fans, rockabillies, mods, geeks, steampunks and more are catered to! However, whether or not you are of the subcultural persuasion ... we hope that you will find something here for you.

Last night we celebrated our little pink shop's first birthday with a fashion party at the Canberra Irish Club - and what a fantastic night it was.

A happy, buzzy evening of fashion parades, burlesque performances and more.

We just wanted to thank a few people publicly - and we promise there will be photos to come!

Lovely Lisa and Mel, our 2ICs, who kept both Sisters calm and happy as they worked their lovely intelligent heads off.

The Darlings have been super-super SUPER busy lately! Oh goodness golly gosh, but we are lining up all our duckies for the best year ever in 2011. Just you wait ... having our Boutique has been great fun because we are learning to think 6 months in advance and already our forward-thinking minds are revelling in winter - but at the same time, this is a great time of year to have a little rest and a think about what is going on right now, this instant.
