As you may know we stock gorgeous ladies' fashions by wonderful US brand Bettie Page Clothing in our online shop.

The other day we received our new catalogue Bettie Page catalogue for their Fall line (incidentally, pretty perfect for Australian Spring). And the styles are GORGEOUS. Lovely, lovely, lovely shapes and colours and fabrics, suitable for a wide range of shapes and styles. Clothes for work, parties, the cinema, restaurants, walks in the park with daffodils nodding in the breeze, attending seminars and conferences, to parental homes for lunch, playing with the kids and shopping. And more.

And, we couldn't help but notice as we enthused, covering a range of sizes from S to 4XL. That's probably everything from an Australian 8 to a 22, or a size or two larger or smaller depending on the style and the shape of the lady trying it on.

See, this is one of the reasons we love Bettie Page Clothing so much. How many fashion designers make clothing as standard for such a good range of sizes? And not just sizes, but also shapes. Darla is the Queen of the Wiggle SKirt and looks divine in a fitted pencil-style. Blossom, on the other hand, is all about the statement collar and the circle skirt, just loving a bit of swirly skirt action. We are different. So are you. BP Clothing is decent enough to appreciate this.

Of course we understand that humans come in this full range of sizing plus considerably more, but we still think that for one label to go this far is a wonderful thing. We want more! More fashion labels to embrace a bigger sizing range. You will find in our links our Hall of Fashion Fame, showcasing shops and designers who do exactly that. And obviously we adore Bettie Page so much we stock it. Not everybody keeps every size in stock, but all of our fashion faves will at least custom make clothing to fit you, which is worthwhile getting done from time to time. These designers understand a simple and obvious fact: that humans are unique, and equally deserving.

Of course, we also adore our Bettie Page Clothing because it is wearable, well-made and suitable for a large range of activities, and because it is just pretty, and their service is wonderful which means that we can order your preferred style in your preferred size and get it to you nice and quickly.
